Rohini Mahesh is a trained Indian Classical Singer / Artiste, who has had an inclination towards music since she was 4 years old. Music is her passion.

Her first exposure to music at a tender age was through her parents' initiation towards listening to Bharat Ratna Dr. M.S. Subhalaxmi. Being a Mumbaite, she was also simultaneously exposed to India's Nightingale, Bharat Ratna Smt. Lata Mangeshkar's voice on Vividh Bharathi Music channel.

She has been inspired by many great musicians, since a young age, having been very strongly influenced by Padmabhushan Smt.Sudha Raghunathan's form of musical rendition, who hails from Shri G.N.Balasubramaniam / Smt. M.L.Vasanthakumari's school of Carnatic music, from the South.
